When I can focus only on my own classes, I can try so many different things.

Teachers who have worked at after-school academies, as private tutors, or with other companies will know that focusing only on teaching is harder than it sounds. You have to consult with parents, and sometimes you need to communicate with managers. In the process, things can happen that hurt your feelings, and you may be pressured to teach classes focused on advanced study. For me, those things were genuinely stressful. I wanted to teach children a wide range of history classes, but because I was only teaching classes that matched what administrators wanted, each day started to feel repetitive. After I found Gguge, I was finally able to teach the variety of classes I had always wanted. And because Gguge helps with consultations and management, all I have to do is keep preparing my classes. These days, I genuinely enjoy simply thinking about what class I should prepare each day.

I wanted to do work that made use of my own talents.

The most positive change I experienced while teaching on Gguge was realizing that even a small talent can become my own unique strength. I went through a confusing time when I had many dreams and kept wondering, 'What can I really do with my life?' Even though I did not have much experience, I wanted to find something only I could do. Then I discovered Gguge, and I created my own class plan by thinking back to the way I had joyfully learned as a child. When I saw how much the children enjoyed the class, I realized that my ideas truly had value. Now, whenever I have time, I plan new classes, and I am also studying education to make up for my limited experience. Do not be afraid. Give it a try!

School curricula inevitably have to follow a set framework and path.

In elementary and middle school, and of course in high school, the barrier of entrance exams tends to divide what students want to study from what they have to study. I also struggled with that dilemma and often wondered whether I could live by teaching only the classes I truly wanted to teach. Around that time, I happened to learn about Gguge. I wondered whether anyone would really take classes like mine, but thankfully, I connected with many children and have continued teaching them to this day. Even though we met online, I now have students I see every week, and as we build rapport, I am able to teach a wide range of classes. Of course, it would be a lie to say there is no stress in preparing for class, and it is true that I feel more responsibility now. Still, not everyone has a fixed path they must follow. Everyone has to walk their own path, but because there are often no footprints ahead of us, fear naturally comes with it. I think the biggest appeal is the autonomy that comes without interference. I was afraid too, and also excited. Even so, experiencing many different colors rather than only stability gave me motivation and a stronger spirit of challenge.
